Ryan Zacharczyk,

Ryan Zacharczyk is President of Zynergy Financial Planning, LLC, a financial planning firm specializing in working with mature adults 50 years old and above.

Located in Red Bank, New Jersey, Zynergy provides comprehensive financial planning services for individuals 50 and older, who face some very unique challenges. He helps them achieve their objectives in estate planning, investment management, tax minimization, and insurance planning. Ryan specializes in Social Security, Medicare, Medigap insurance, reverse mortgages, pensions, long-term care insurance, mandatory IRA withdrawals, small business transition, and real estate. As a fee-only financial planning firm that does not sell products or collect commissions from any third-party, Zynergy’s success is based on the financial success of their clients.

Ryan’s education and experience in finance, and the issues affecting those in pre- and post retirement, is extensive. For almost a decade, Ryan worked as a financial trader for Bear Hunter, a Manhattan specialist firm on the New York Stock Exchange and the American Stock Exchange. At this Wall Street organization, he managed risk for accounts containing assets as large as $45 million. This experience has provided Ryan with the ability to manage and mitigate risk in any market for his clients.
Mr. Zacharczyk strongly believes adults should be educated about their retirement planning options. To facilitate this, Ryan is a frequent speaker at several corporations and organizations including Kiwanis of Greater Red Bank, as well as at Active Adult Communities, Senior Groups, libraries, and Chambers of Commerce. Topics include “Retirement Planning for Any Age,” “Living Off Your Assets,” and “Social Security & Medicare.”

In addition, Ryan has written numerous articles related to retirement and financial planning. His articles have been published in several periodicals including The Two River Times and Currents magazine. Ryan also writes a regular column on financial planning topics for Currents.

Ryan is active in the financial community and is a member of the Association for Certified Financial Planners and the Financial Planning Association, where he serves on the Education Committee. Additionally, Ryan is President of the Red Bank, New Jersey chapter of LeTip, a business networking group.

Ryan is also on the Board of Directors of the Eastern Monmouth Area Chamber of Commerce as well as an active member of the Southern Monmouth Chamber of Commerce and the Monmouth-Ocean Development Council.

Dedication to his community is a large part of Ryan’s focus as Vice-President of Kiwanis of Greater Red Bank. A local chapter of a national organization dedicated to helping children.
Mr. Zacharczyk holds a Certified Financial Planner™ designation, Certified Senior Advisor designation and a Certified Retirement Planning Counselor designation.

Ryan received two degrees from the University of Connecticut, where he was captain of their Division I swim team. His Bachelor of Science is in Business, while his Bachelor of Arts is in Communications. Ryan has also received his MBA in finance from Monmouth University.

Ryan’s home is in Red Bank, New Jersey, where he lives with his wife and two children.
