Alex's story is

Alex was 60 years old and living alone in Pennsylvania.
He had been a widower for two years. Alex lived a relatively simple life,
working for the same company and living in the same house since high school.
He had two daughters and numerous grandchildren who lived in Virginia. Alex

only family.
As we sat for our initial meeting,
we discussed everything from his wife's cooking, to his love of golf, to
his desire to see more of his family. When our meeting concluded, he asked

club he had always admired. One of his dreams was to take his family on
a cruise. I showed him how he could take his family on a cruise every year.

no chance of him running out of money.
As we flipped through the pages of the plan, I could tell Alex was beginning
to realize what was possible in his retirement. He told me, as he fought
back tears, that his number one goal was to be with his family. He was so
appreciative that I had not only given him the ability to do that, but had
also provided some of the comforts he never thought he could afford. I explained
that he should not be thanking me; he had earned all of this.
